Born to Dominican parents, Barnaby De La Cruz grew up in Washington Heights. At a young age he was inspired by the movie "Leon: The Professional" to become a filmmaker. After studying business at the University of Kentucky, he moved back to New York **** to focus on acting, and after working on his craft, decided to permanently relocate to Los Angeles.In 2010 Barnaby was cast in a role on the television shows "Criminal Minds" and "Its Always Sunny on Philadelphia," and was also featured in a nationwide ad campaign for Apple. He branched out into producing with his next *******, a ten minute action film titled "Operation:CTF" starring Jonathan Keltz, directed by Denzel Whitaker. Shortly afterwards he co-wrote and produced, Criminal with Denzel Whitaker which stars Kevin Phillips, Robbie Amell & Noel Gugliemi. The film can be found on *******.He is constantly working on new avenues to bring creative projects to the entertainment business.
